This project explores the design aesthetics of vintage national park posters with "greetings from..." postcards from the late 70s to early 80s.
I chose these two design directions because I found it to be an interesting spin on a marketing choice that, instead of bringing people to a place of beauty, it showcases the state of the environment if climate change isn't stopped. I also wanted to purposefully use photos I had taken through various trips around the U.S. in my designs, places exuded a unique beauty I couldn't find anywhere else, and to tarnish it. It created a visual landscape that was visually beautiful and haunting at the same time.
