Curate: Workshop Posters
Marketing, Posters
Curate by Space In the Gap is group that utilizes vacant commercial properties ("Space") in the Gap between long term tenants. They use these spaces to curate a plethora of artists and small vendors to showcase local small creative businesses. They're currently located at The Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo, CA and each curated location is site specific and is lead by a lead curator or group. My team and I created over 120 posters of varying different design directions to see which marketing direction the client wanted to go in, because their focus at the time was to promote their creative workshops and to bring local artists to share their knowledge on their craft. Ernesto Macareno, my co-project manager and I brought our team together to deliver a variety of posters by establishing a set of guidelines based on information our client provided. These guide lines and direction paved the way for the team to create a body of work that, although each designer took their own creative interpretations, were cohesive in overall branding.
